A bizarre book to say the least An assassin is hired for a job plunging the galaxy into chaos and causing him to go on the run It starts well with the title device being an interesting piece of technology However the story has the protagonist becoming a rebel bent on changing the status uo of the galaxy There wasn't really much action the tension was blase the supporting characters very one dimensional and the pair that pop up often were too far fetched I'm glad I read one of Williamson's books but I won't be returning to this one
