Emilys Heart Akasha Chronicles #3 Ut redemption seems far off indeed as she faces the expanding darkness aloneEmily will need an army of her own if she is to save the world from being taken over by pure evil But will a small band of Lucent geeks and freaks be enough to send the dark god packing?Amidst chaos and ruin will love blossom in Emily's Heart? Alright I'm going to consider this a part review for book 2 but also for book 3 I am having trouble still learning this site and my personal review for book 2 was half way through the bookLong story short Book 2's start was horrible though explained later on that her increase in boredom and negative thoughts was actually the result of a dark god of sorts So despite still hating the opening of book 2 the rest of book 2 was spot on Emily paid every second and every moment for what she did and book 3 was further proof of thatBook 3 was fantastic in the sense of despair it held Not only did it show Emily's guilt eating her away but it showed the DIRECT results of what happened from the previous book By letting out this dark god there would be short chapters here and there of ordinary people and how they suffered because of her actions How countless lives were ripped apart because of her selfishness in book 2 That right there brings me some serious satisfaction because actions were not ignoredI was very curious all through book 3 how it would end the writing grew phenomenally better from the previous books though I couldn't point out exactly where or what changed off hand But Natalie's writing grew Some things in the ending felt really hard to believe and I really had to stretch my mind to believe that some of it could happen in the way it didOverall the ending was a good end to the series though I'd almost have wanted to read about the after effects of this whole affair far How will the world handle these soulless humans? And honestly with so many people turned soulless how could society in any way pick itself back up and be like it was before? That would be a very interesting bookSo I give it 3 stars The books got better as they went and the ending was satisfying and overall not bad even given previous frustrations with it
